Singapore Civil Defence Force K9 Unit

Meet the Furry Heroes of the SCDF K-9 Unit!

Come say hi to the brave dogs of the SCDF K-9 Unit and snap a paw-fect photo with these extraordinary heroes!

Trained as part of the elite Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART), these highly skilled canines play a vital role in rescue missions and fire investigations. With their remarkable sense of smell, they help locate survivors trapped in disaster zones such as collapsed buildings, and assist in uncovering the cause of fires by detecting traces of flammable substances.

Behind every successful mission lies the strong bond between each dog and its dedicated handler—built on trust, teamwork, and countless hours of rigorous training. The SCDF K-9 Unit’s commitment extends beyond our borders too, with deployments to international relief efforts, including the recent earthquake in Myanmar.

Catch these furry heroes behind the SCDF booth!
