MERCY Malaysia

Datuk Dr Heng is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who has volunteered with Mercy Malaysia since 2002. He has worked in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Philippines, Sudan, Iraq, Myanmar, N. Korea, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Chile and Nepal in Natural Disasters and Conflict situations.

He is a Board member of Mercy Malaysia and APG ( Asean Partnership Group). He has also served in the Board of ADRRN (Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network), ALNAP (Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance) and was part of the Humanitarian Futures Program based in King's College London.

His work has involved being a first responder in many Natural Disasters and he was an initiator of the Mobile Hospital ( WHO certified) in Mercy Malaysia.
